THE CHILLING secret past of cold-blooded killer Jamie Varley can today be revealed—after shocked former classmates broke their silence over his sickening childhood antics.

Twisted Varley—who is now rotting behind bars on a whole-life order for the barbaric torture and murder of 13-month-old baby Preston Davey—was a “vile” and “warped” loner who once performed a gross sex act right in front of a teacher.

Horrified ex-pals have exposed the monster’s hyper-sexualised teenage years at Palatine High School in Blackpool, claiming he was a ticking time bomb whose disturbing behavior was repeatedly ignored.

One former school friend revealed how the perverted killer would regularly expose his genitals in full view of other pupils.

In one stomach-churning incident, Varley was even caught masturbating in the middle of a school lesson.

Speaking out about the depraved design and technology teacher, the ex-classmate said: “Varley would expose himself in school. He would get his genitals out in full view.

“He exposed himself more than once. On one occasion, he was caught masturbating in a lesson. Nobody liked him. I thought he was vile back then.”

The shocked former peer added that teachers were repeatedly warned about Varley’s escalating, predatory behavior, but claimed that absolutely nothing was done to stop him.

“Questions should be asked about what, if any, action was taken around his behavior as a hyper-sexualised teenager,” they slammed.

Local residents who grew up on the same Blackpool street as the monster recalled how he never fit in with the local kids. Instead of playing football or hanging out, Varley exhibited bizarre behavior from a young age, including pushing a toy pram with dolls inside up and down the pavement.

A former neighbor revealed: “He was never one of us. He never wanted to knock around with us or play football. We never really saw much of him, and he didn’t leave his house much.

“He was a bit of a loner and an outsider. It’s always the quiet ones.”

But the quiet loner grew into a sadistic beast.

In July 2023, Varley’s hidden darkness culminated in the horrific death of innocent baby Preston, who was subjected to a grueling four-month campaign of unimaginable terror and abuse.

The helpless tot suffered 40 catastrophic internal and external injuries at the hands of the brute.

When Preston was rushed to hospital, spineless Varley tried to cover his tracks by spinning a web of lies, claiming the little boy had accidentally drowned in the bath.

But a harrowing post-mortem examination blew his cover, revealing the true, sickening scale of the violence. Experts discovered an object had been forced into the youngster’s mouth, exposing a catalogue of horrific, non-accidental injuries.

Monster Varley was hauled before the courts and convicted of murder, two counts of assault by penetration, five counts of child cruelty, grievous bodily harm, and sexual assault of a child.

The high-tech pervert was also found guilty of 13 counts of taking indecent photos or videos of a child, making an indecent photo, and distributing a vile image to his co-accused.

The judge handed Varley a whole-life tariff, ensuring the beast will draw his last breath behind bars at high-security HMP Wakefield—dubbed the ‘Monster Mansion’.

His equally twisted partner, John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, was locked up for 25 years for his own sickening role in the tragedy. He was found guilty of allowing the death of a child, two counts of child cruelty, and the sexual assault of a child.

Now, a major safeguarding investigation has been launched to find out how the evil pair were ever allowed near a vulnerable child.

Experts have launched a deep-dive probe into Oldham Council, the adoption agency involved, and the hospital staff who treated little Preston before his tragic death.

Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing, Josh MacAlister, has demanded answers to ensure no other child ever suffers the same grim fate at the hands of a hidden monster.
