Vogue Williams has revealed that she and her husband Spencer Matthews have made a last-minute change to their baby boy’s name, despite previously being certain about their choice. The couple had planned to name their fourth child Elvis, a bold tribute inspired by the legendary rock and roll icon. However, just weeks before the baby’s arrival, Vogue admitted that they have abandoned the name and are now searching for a new one.

The Irish television and radio presenter shared the unexpected update on her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, explaining that the decision came after Spencer received several calls from family members expressing their opinions about the name. Vogue admitted that although she loved the idea of calling her son Elvis, the reaction from relatives made them reconsider their choice. The name, which she described as “pretty full on,” became a topic of discussion within the family.
Vogue explained that the concerns were not only about family reactions but also about the weight of the name itself. She revealed that, despite loving Elvis, she had never felt completely comfortable with the idea because it was such a powerful and recognisable name. She worried that carrying a name associated with such a famous music legend could be difficult for a child growing up, especially when they become older and enter the working world.
Although the couple has now decided against Elvis, Vogue made it clear that it was still her favourite option. She said they had considered other “very cool” names, but none had matched the excitement she felt for Elvis. The presenter admitted that the name had stayed on her mind for a long time, but the combination of family concerns and her own doubts eventually led her and Spencer to change their plans.

Vogue and Spencer are already parents to three children: seven-year-old Theodore, four-year-old Otto, and six-year-old daughter Gigi. Their fourth child, a baby boy, is expected in October. The couple recently announced that they were having another son, and while they have not yet revealed a replacement name, they will now have to make a final decision before welcoming their newest family member.
During the same podcast episode, Vogue also opened up about her pregnancy experience and joked about her relationship with Spencer as she approaches the final stage of pregnancy. The 40-year-old presenter joked that she felt Spencer was no longer attracted to her because she was heavily pregnant and suggested that their usual romantic moments had changed during this period.
Vogue humorously explained that she had been trying to look her best but felt unsure about Spencer’s interest as her due date approached. She joked that even her Botox wearing off could be the reason behind his supposed lack of attention. Spencer, however, reportedly explained that his focus was more on the upcoming arrival of their baby rather than anything else, as Vogue is now very close to giving birth.

The couple’s conversation also turned into a light-hearted discussion about intimacy during late pregnancy, with Vogue joking about Spencer changing his mind after initially keeping his distance. While the discussion was filled with humour, the main surprise from Vogue’s update remained her decision to give up the name Elvis. After months of loving the idea, she and Spencer now face the challenge of finding a new name that feels just as special for their baby boy.
