It was 3am on 29 July 2026 when the first screams echoed through the concrete corridors of HMP Wakefield. The notorious “Monster Mansion” – Britain’s grimest high-security prison, home to some of the most dangerous child sex offenders and murderers in the country – had just witnessed its most vicious attack in decades.
