Prince Harry’s recent return to the United Kingdom may not be the last royal visit involving his family this year. According to new reports, the Duke of Sussex is already thinking about bringing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet back to Britain again, with hopes of strengthening their relationship with King Charles III.

The reported plans come only weeks after Harry, Meghan Markle, Archie, and Lilibet quietly reunited with the King and Queen Camilla during a private gathering at Highgrove House. Although the meeting was kept out of the public eye, insiders now claim it has encouraged Harry to pursue more opportunities for his children to spend time with their grandfather.
Earlier this month, Harry traveled to Britain for what was expected to be a solo visit after his request for taxpayer-funded police protection was reportedly denied. Initial reports suggested Meghan would remain abroad with Archie and Lilibet, with Portugal mentioned as their likely location while Harry completed his engagements in Britain.
However, that narrative quickly changed.

Within days, it emerged that Meghan and the children had also traveled to the UK, where they reportedly attended a private family meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla on July 10 at Highgrove House.
According to reports cited by Closer, the reunion has only strengthened Harry’s determination to arrange another visit before the year comes to an end.
One insider claimed reconnecting his children with the King has become Harry’s biggest personal objective.
“Getting the kids back together with Charles is absolutely top of Harry’s agenda right now. It’s practically all he can talk about.”
According to the source, Harry has already begun thinking ahead to the Christmas holidays.
“He has his heart set on bringing them back for Christmas, but he’d love to fit in a trip before then, too, if they can find a window in everyone’s schedules.”
The remarks suggest Harry is hoping there may be another opportunity for Archie and Lilibet to visit Britain even before the festive season if family schedules can be coordinated.
While Harry reportedly appears eager to organize another reunion, Meghan’s priorities are said to be slightly different.

According to the same source, the Duchess of Sussex is supportive of maintaining family connections but does not want the children making the journey without her accompanying them.
The insider explained:
“She certainly doesn’t want the children going without her, not at this stage.”
That reported position reflects Meghan’s desire to remain closely involved in any future meetings between her children and members of the Royal Family.
The reports also suggest Meghan would prefer to see the relationship develop in another direction.

Rather than expecting repeated trips across the Atlantic, she is reportedly hoping King Charles might eventually travel to the United States to visit his youngest grandchildren himself.
According to the insider:
“As far as Meghan’s concerned, it’s time Harry’s family made some effort to see them…”
However, the source added that Harry himself struggles to imagine such a scenario becoming reality.
“…but it’s very hard for Harry to imagine a scenario where Charles comes to America instead; he just can’t see it happening.”
If those reports are accurate, Harry and Meghan may ultimately share the same goal of allowing Archie and Lilibet to build a stronger relationship with the King, while differing on how those visits should take place.
The latest claims also highlight how much has changed since the Sussexes stepped back as senior working royals in 2020.
Travel between California and Britain has often been surrounded by security concerns, scheduling challenges, and intense media attention, making even private family visits unusually complicated.
For Harry, another successful trip could represent an important step toward rebuilding family ties that have remained strained for several years.
For Meghan, ensuring the children travel as a family unit appears equally important.
Meanwhile, whether King Charles would ever consider making a private visit to California remains entirely speculative.
The reports acknowledge that Harry reportedly finds such an idea difficult to envision despite Meghan’s hopes.
The last publicly known visit Archie and Lilibet made to Britain before this month’s reported family reunion took place in June 2022 during celebrations marking Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
Although they were present in the country at the time, neither child appeared in public during the celebrations.
Now, according to unnamed sources, Harry is already looking beyond this summer.
Whether another reunion happens before Christmas or during the holiday season itself may ultimately depend on security arrangements, family schedules, and the willingness of everyone involved.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have publicly confirmed the reported plans.
For now, the possibility of Archie and Lilibet returning to Britain once again remains based on anonymous sources. Even so, those reports suggest that helping his children spend more time with King Charles has become one of Prince Harry’s most important personal ambitions following their recent private reunion in the UK.
