MEGHAN’S COMEBACK IS SET TO LEAVE BRITAIN EMOTIONAL — AND SHE ALREADY HAS A PLAN TO WIN THE PUBLIC BACK. More than ten days after returning from Montecito, Meghan is said to have started laying the groundwork for a carefully planned return to public life. But this time, Hollywood and Netflix may not be enough to help rebuild her image. So she appears to be turning to something very different in an effort to make herself a major figure in Britain once again. And the first hints of Meghan’s strategy for softening public opinion have left people stunned by just how confident she seems about pulling it off. FULL DETAILS HERE…

Meghan Markle’s return to Britain may eventually become much more than a family relocation.

While Prince Harry is already preparing for a busy schedule of engagements, Meghan appears to be considering something equally significant: rebuilding a public role of her own in the country she left six years ago.

According to the Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex is considering returning to charity work once Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have settled into their new lives in Britain.

That detail changes the meaning of the Sussexes’ return.

For now, Harry and Meghan are still dealing with the most ordinary parts of relocation. More than ten days after arriving from Montecito, they are reportedly still unpacking, recovering from jet lag and preparing their children for school.

They have even been trying to avoid attention while buying school uniforms and pencil cases.

But behind that deliberately quiet beginning, both Harry and Meghan appear to be preparing for much more public lives.

For Meghan, Smart Works could become an important bridge between her old royal life and whatever comes next.

A source close to her said she wants to “pick up with a lot of people” now that she is back in Britain.

Smart Works, which supports unemployed and vulnerable women seeking employment, appears to be especially important. Meghan held four patronages after marrying Harry in 2018, but Smart Works was the only one she continued supporting after she stopped working as a member of the Royal Family.

Her connection with the organisation is not new.

In 2019, Meghan launched the Smartset capsule collection in partnership with Jigsaw, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer to benefit Smart Works.

At the time, she described this type of community work as something she had been doing “for a really long time” and said doing it in her “new home in the UK” meant a great deal to her.

She also spoke about women having a responsibility to “support and uplift each other”.

Those comments now look particularly interesting because Meghan is once again trying to establish a life in Britain.

A source says she is thinking about how she can become more involved with causes she previously supported, while also considering new causes.

If that happens, Meghan will not be invisible.

Harry and Meghan's main security concern revealed after UK return | The Independent

She is expected to be photographed and publicised while working with charities. That creates an obvious challenge for a couple who have spent years attempting to control how their public and private lives are covered.

Harry and Meghan are reportedly considering creating what they regard as a “fair” structure for media coverage after withdrawing from the traditional royal rota system in 2020.

That may become one of the most important practical questions surrounding Meghan’s comeback.

She appears interested in public-facing work, but the Sussexes still want greater control over the machinery surrounding that publicity.

At the same time, there is an even more immediate problem that could shape every part of their British life: security.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle give 'first sign' their marriage is on the rocks

The couple’s greatest concern is reportedly not a major public engagement but something far more routine — taking their children to school.

Former Metropolitan Police royalty and specialist protection officer Scott Hamer described the school run as “really, really difficult”.

The reason is simple.

A security team can change routes, but the beginning and end of a school journey usually remain the same. Repetition creates predictability, and predictability creates concern for protection teams.

Harry has reportedly “privately pleaded” with Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood for a decision on whether his family will receive publicly funded security.

A fresh review had already been carried out at the end of July on the instructions of Ravec through its risk management board.

However, the board was reportedly unaware at the time that Harry was planning a permanent return to Britain.

Harry formally notified the Home Secretary in mid-August that his family was moving back and is still waiting for the conclusions of the review.

The financial implications could be substantial.

Previous estimates suggested armed police protection for the Sussex family during UK visits could cost more than £5 million. If they remain in Britain full-time and government-funded protection is approved, the eventual cost could rise considerably.

Harry’s dispute over security has already been long and contentious.

After losing his legal battle against the Government last year, the Court of Appeal concluded that a grievance was not the same as a valid legal argument. Harry later described the outcome as an “establishment stitch-up” and continued pushing for another security assessment.

Now the issue has become much more immediate because his children are actually preparing to begin school in Britain.

Meanwhile, Harry is expected to resume a visible schedule of his own.

His upcoming activities include the WellChild Awards, work connected with the Invictus Games and Imperial College’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies.

Friends say the couple are “excited about being back and everything that’s to come”.

For Meghan, that “everything” may extend beyond charity work.

There is also speculation about a possible return to acting. Reports remain contradictory over whether she could appear in the third season of Netflix’s The Gentlemen. Asked about the rumours, Netflix UK scripted-series executive Manda Levin offered only one deliberately open-ended response: “All bets are off.”

That uncertainty actually captures Meghan’s current position remarkably well.

She is back in Britain, but the shape of her new role is not yet fixed.

Charity work could reconnect her with causes she supported before leaving royal life. Public appearances could give her an independent identity in Britain. Acting rumours suggest another possible direction entirely.

Yet all of those ambitions sit behind a far more basic question.

Before Meghan can fully build a new public chapter, Harry and Meghan first need to know whether the ordinary act of taking Archie and Lilibet to school can be made secure enough for the family to live the life they have just returned to Britain to create.
