Harry Styles is spotted running to Wembley Stadium as he embarks on 10km from his home in Hampstead ahead of his two-hour concert as fans joke ‘was he late to work?’
Harry Styles was spotted running to his two-hour Wembley concert on Friday.
The singer, 32, kicked off his record-breaking 12-night Wembley Stadium residency on June 12, opening to a sold-out crowd as part of his Together Together tour.
The One Direction star is celebrating the release of his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally, with a global run, with his London dates already making history as the longest single-artist Wembley residency ever.
Known for his love of running, having completed two marathons, Harry was seen making his way to his concert by running 10km from his home in Hampstead to the north west London arena.
In a TikTok video posted by @paigealicex, the singer could be seen in a grey sweatshirt and purple shorts heading towards the stadium.

Known for his love of running, having completed two marathons, Harry was seen making his way to his concert by running 10km from his home in Hampstead to the north west London arena
Fans found the clip hilarious, as they commented: ‘I thought Chris Martin getting the train to Cardiff was epic but this beats that’,
‘He’s just multitasking. Getting his workout in, while getting to work’, ‘Going for a run is the sign of the times’,
‘He has to be the first person ever to just jog to his own stadium show’, ‘IM CRYINGGGGGG’,
‘The way I was running this street to get to the concert in time’, ‘He’s such an icon’, ‘Was he late to work or…’
Last year Harry impressed onlookers when he crossed the finish line with a time of 3:24:07 at Tokyo Marathon, landing him in very respectable 6,010th place of 26,706 runners.
And six months later, the Watermelon Sugar singer scored a new personal best when he ran the Berlin Marathon in under three hours, with a finish time of 2:59:13.
Starring on the cover of Runner’s World back in March, Harry explained the sport allows him to be alone with his thoughts and shed the trappings of fame.
After taking time away from the spotlight to go to travelling, attend Glastonbury, hit the Berlin club scene and see the new Pope be announced in Rome, Harry found his passion for running, saying it became a place for him to ‘really be by myself’.
He said: ‘Because in some of those new experiences, there’s just so much stimulation, right? So many people, and it’s just so loud.
‘So then running also became my processing place for all of that. Really being by myself. When you’re training for a marathon, which is the loneliest part, you just kind of set out for a run, and three hours later you come back.
‘But there’s a real synergy between that and electronic music. It’s kind of hypnotic and becomes like a mantra almost.’
While he explained that an added bonus was that running allowed him to step outside of his status as a celebrity and just be himself, describing it as ‘going about your day in the most naked form’.
Despite being one of the most famous faces in the world, he insisted that being in constant motion meant that fans often didn’t get the chance to recognise him.
‘Well, the main thing is that you’re always moving. You can turn a corner wherever,’ he said. ‘I think with people who see me, it’s a bit more “Was that…?” rather than, “Oh look it’s him!” And by that time, you’re already gone.’

Meanwhile last week Harry received a standing ovation after he delivered a ‘stunning’ performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water during his pared-back show at Meltdown Festival on Tuesday night.
The singer, took a break from his Wembley residency to perform the show with the Jules Buckley Orchestra at London’s Southbank Centre, and concluded the night with a cover of the 1970 Simon And Garfunkel hit.
Harry is known to be a fan of the track, and his audience’s reaction to the cover has since gone viral on social media.
Footage shared on Instagram showed the huge round of applause from the crowd, with Rolling Stone UK praising his ‘stunning’ version of the song.
Harry’s performance came after his bandmate Liam Payne famously covered the song to raise money for the Grenfell Appeal in 2017.
Liam died aged 31 in October 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was found to have alcohol and cocaine in his system.
Hours after he covered the song, Harry then alluded to the impact Liam’s death had on him during his concert at Wembley Stadium.
The Aperture hitmaker is currently in the middle of his 12-night residency in London and in between hits he took a moment to reflect over ‘how beautiful, difficult and fragile life can be’.
Talking to the crowd, he began: ‘I’ve been letting a lot of life happen and having some stuff land on me and as these things were happening just sort of feeling how beautiful, and difficult and inspiring and fragile life can be.
‘I have never felt more hopeful being in these rooms with you about the future than I am today.
‘It feels like the start of something rather than the end of something and what you guys create together is incredibly special and I hope you know that.’
It isn’t the first time Harry has addressed his grief, after he also spoke about his time away from the spotlight during a show in Amsterdam last month.
He said: ‘There are some wonderful things that happened to me and there were somedifficult things that happened to me.
‘I lost some friends over the last couple of years. For me having some time to let these big moments happen I have realised how fragile, beautiful, wonderful, hard, gross, inspiring all of the things life can be.’
He concluded by saying: ‘I hope being in this room together tonight, we can createome good energy together.’

Harry previously spoke to DJ Zane Lowe about how Liam’s death impacted him.
He said: ‘It’s so difficult to lose a friend. It’s difficult to lose any friend, but it’s so difficult to lose a friend who is so like you in so many ways.
‘I think there was a period when he passed away where I really struggled with acknowledging how strange it is to have people own part of your grief in a way.’
He went on: ‘I have such strong feelings around my friend passing away. And then suddenly being aware of a desire from other people of you to convey that in some way, or it means you’re not feeling what you’re feeling, you know?’
Harry then sweetly added of Liam: ‘I saw someone with the kindest heart who just wanted to be great. What happened was a really important moment for me in terms of taking a look at my life and being able to say to myself, ‘OK, what do I want to do with my life?
‘How do I want to live my life?’ And I think the greatest way you can honour your friends who pass away is by living your life to the fullest.’
