Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have officially closed the chapter on Pickle Cottage, the beloved family home that became the backdrop for some of their most treasured memories. After years of living there, celebrating their wedding, and welcoming their two youngest daughters, the couple has made the emotional decision to move on. Stacey admitted that waking up somewhere new feels “so strange” after leaving the £1.3 million property behind, but she is also filled with excitement about starting a new adventure with her family.

The couple has moved into a much larger eight-bedroom Victorian manor surrounded by extensive land, allowing them to finally pursue their dream of expanding their smallholding. Stacey revealed that the new property gives them the opportunity to create bigger gardens, grow more vegetables, and provide space for more rescued animals. Although leaving Pickle Cottage was incredibly difficult, the couple fell in love with the new home after seeing the possibilities it offered for their growing family and their plans for a more countryside-focused lifestyle.

Despite being excited about the renovation project, Stacey has made it clear that she will not reveal the exterior of their new home to the public. The presenter explained that the decision was made for security and privacy reasons after the family experienced problems at Pickle Cottage toward the end of their time there. While she is happy to invite followers inside the rooms and share ideas about decorating, she wants to keep the location and appearance of the building itself private to protect her family.

Stacey gave fans a first glimpse of the new home by sharing a photo of her daughter Rose inside one of the rooms. The space featured a beautifully painted white fireplace, black and white marble details, and elegant wallpaper, giving followers a small look at the larger and more traditional style of the new property. She explained that she was eager to spend time understanding each room before making decisions, as she wants the transformation to happen naturally rather than rushing the process.

The TV presenter also shared her excitement about turning the house into a new family project. She admitted that the renovation will be a huge challenge and said she would need plenty of help, ideas, and inspiration from her followers. Stacey plans to take her time exploring the property and creating spaces that reflect the family’s personality, comfort, and lifestyle. She described the project as something she is truly looking forward to, especially because it represents a fresh beginning.

On Friday, Stacey and Joe officially introduced the move by sharing a family photo outside their new home. Stacey captioned the moment with the words “Home is wherever I’m with you” and announced that the “Pickle Project” was beginning. She also confirmed that their chickens, ducks, and beehive had successfully moved with them, meaning the family’s beloved animals would continue to be part of their countryside dream.

The decision to leave Pickle Cottage was not made quickly or easily. Stacey previously explained that the home held a special place in their hearts because it was where she and Joe built their family life together. She gave birth to their daughters there, married Joe on the grounds in 2022, and created countless memories in the property. However, the couple had always dreamed of having more space for animals, gardening, and future plans, and the new Victorian manor felt like the perfect opportunity to make those dreams happen.

Stacey and Joe first met on “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” in 2010 and later built a life together at Pickle Cottage after moving there in 2021. Although saying goodbye to the home was emotional, Stacey believes their new property will allow their family to continue growing and creating new memories. While fans may not see the outside of the manor, Stacey is excited to share the interior transformation and bring everyone along as she turns the new house into a warm and personal family home.
