NOT KATIE PRICE — THIS WAS THE MOST CRITICIZED NAME AT THE NTAs! The National Television Awards is usually a night filled with glamorous and eye-catching gowns, but not every star manages to shine with her look. One of them was a female celebrity whose EXTREMELY BOLD OUTFIT was so hard on the eyes that no one dared to look directly at her. Fans were even hesitant to comment, because the look was so difficult to take in that they simply didn’t want to look at it for another second.

The National Television Awards delivered no shortage of glamour at London’s O2 Arena, but alongside the elegant gowns and polished tailoring came several outfits that proved far more divisive. Katie Price, Amanda Holden and Tasha Ghouri were among the stars whose bold fashion choices became major talking points on the 2026 red carpet.

The annual ceremony brought together personalities from some of Britain’s biggest television programmes, with the evening once again doubling as both an awards show and a major celebrity fashion event.

While stars including Olivia Attwood, Rochelle Humes and Cat Deeley won praise for their sophisticated looks, several other arrivals embraced more experimental styling that was unlikely to please everyone.

Fashion criticism is, of course, subjective, but these were among the outfits that generated the most debate on the night.

Katie Price Makes One of the Night’s Boldest Entrances

Katie Price ensured photographers had plenty to capture when she arrived wearing an oversized white shirt paired with tiny black-and-nude lace shorts, sheer tights and towering black heels.

The former glamour model appeared with daughter Princess Andre and wore her dark hair slicked tightly back.

Her dramatic makeup was another major feature of the look, with heavy dark eye makeup, strong contouring and a deeply bronzed complexion.

The appearance came only hours after Price revealed she had recently undergone more cosmetic work, including facial filler and another breast procedure. She had earlier shown followers bruising and swelling around her face and said the makeup helped cover a black eye caused by the treatment.

Rather than opting for the sweeping gowns worn by many of the evening’s attendees, Price’s combination of lingerie-inspired shorts and an oversized shirt gave her one of the most unconventional silhouettes on the carpet.

Amanda Holden Goes All-In on Hot Pink

Amanda Holden was equally difficult to miss.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 55, arrived in a vivid fuchsia satin gown featuring an array of cut-out bow details across the front.

The dress featured a plunging neckline and multiple openings through the bodice, turning the otherwise traditional floor-length silhouette into something far more theatrical.

Holden has long been known for embracing daring red-carpet fashion, and her NTA outfit continued that tradition.

The bright Barbie-pink shade made the dress one of the most eye-catching creations of the evening, although its combination of satin, bows and cut-outs divided fashion observers.

She completed the appearance with sleek styling and minimal accessories, allowing the gown itself to remain the focus.

Tasha Ghouri Sparkles From Head to Toe

Tasha Ghouri took an entirely different approach, choosing a heavily embellished look dominated by sequins.

The former Love Island star arrived in a shimmering outfit that exposed part of her midriff and featured a daring cropped bodice.

The sheer quantity of embellishment meant the outfit reflected the red-carpet lights from almost every angle.

Ghouri has previously defended experimental fashion and spoken publicly about enjoying clothes as a form of self-expression after finding herself included on “worst dressed” lists in the past.

Her 2026 outfit again demonstrated that she was prepared to take fashion risks rather than choose a safer, more conventional evening gown.

Amy Childs Embraces Floral DramaAmy Childs xuất hiện trong một chiếc váy corset màu xanh lá cây nổi bật được thêu hoa giả, tạo nên sự tương phản rõ rệt với vóc dáng rám nắng của cô.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs also went for maximum impact.

She wore a striking green corseted gown decorated with large floral appliqués.

The structured bodice contrasted with a fuller, highly decorative skirt, while the rich green colour stood out strongly against her bronzed complexion.

The combination of corsetry, floral detailing and dramatic volume made the outfit one of the busiest looks of the evening.

While floral gowns are a red-carpet staple, Childs opted for an especially theatrical interpretation rather than a softer botanical print.

Georgia Harrison Experiments With Blue and Orange

Georgia Harrison xuất hiện tại lễ trao giải trong một chiếc váy dạ hội màu xanh và cam hở hang đầy ấn tượng với phần thân trên gợi cảm.

Georgia Harrison brought another burst of colour to the carpet.

The reality television personality appeared in a dramatic blue-and-orange creation built around a revealing bodice.

The contrasting shades ensured the dress stood apart from the more restrained black, ivory and neutral gowns worn elsewhere at the ceremony.

Cựu ngôi sao Love Island, Demi Jones, gần như khoe trọn vóc dáng gợi cảm trong chiếc váy đen xẻ cao và áo corset đính đá lấp lánh.

Its combination of bold colour blocking and a revealing cut made it another outfit that was almost designed to provoke a reaction.

Harrison has frequently experimented with statement eveningwear, and this year’s NTAs were no exception.

Megan McKenna Trades a Gown for PVC

Megan McKenna rejected the conventional red-carpet dress altogether.

Instead, she wore a glossy black PVC blazer with a coordinating skirt.

The high-shine fabric gave the outfit an edgy, almost fetish-inspired finish that contrasted sharply with the satin and chiffon dominating the carpet.

The tailored shape provided some structure, but the combination of formal suiting and reflective PVC made it one of the evening’s more unusual fashion experiments.

McKenna kept the rest of the styling relatively streamlined, allowing the unusual material to take centre stage.

Demi Jones Chooses a Crystal Corset

Former Love Island contestant Demi Jones also leaned heavily into the corset trend.

She paired a sparkling, diamante-covered bodice with a dramatically high-cut black skirt.

The revealing silhouette placed much of the emphasis on the ornate corset, which glittered beneath the event lighting.

The contrast between the jewel-encrusted top and the black lower half created a deliberately dramatic look, though the amount of exposed skin meant it was far removed from traditional black-tie dressing.

Jasmine Muller Pushes the Sheer Trend Further

Love Island personality Jasmine Muller was another attendee who chose an extremely revealing ensemble.

She attended with fellow villa star Kavan Murphy and opted for a design that made extensive use of sheer and cut-out elements.

The outfit followed one of the strongest celebrity-fashion trends of recent years, with designers increasingly using transparent fabrics, bodysuit-style construction and strategically placed embellishments on major red carpets.

At the NTAs, however, Muller’s version pushed that aesthetic particularly far.

Lottie Tomlinson Tries Nude Lace

Lottie Tomlinson also experimented with the lingerie-inspired theme.

She arrived in a nude-toned lace gown incorporating a visible corset-style top.

The mixture of skin-tone fabric, lace and structured undergarment details gave the dress a boudoir influence.

While corsetry has become increasingly common in eveningwear, Tomlinson’s combination of nude shades and lace resulted in one of the more unconventional interpretations seen at The O2.

A Red Carpet Defined by Risk-Taking

The divisive outfits were only one side of an especially varied NTA carpet.

Other stars embraced more conventional glamour, including Olivia Attwood in pale satin, Rochelle Humes in flowing ivory and Cat Deeley in a colourful patterned gown.

Stacey Solomon wore a strapless black PVC dress, while Paris Fury opted for red satin and Tana Ramsay chose a metallic Victoria Beckham design.

Together, the arrivals showed just how broad modern red-carpet dressing has become.

Traditional ball gowns now sit comfortably alongside corsets, sheer fabrics, PVC, lingerie-inspired pieces, dramatic cut-outs and heavily embellished designs.

That variety inevitably means some looks attract admiration while others provoke criticism.

The NTAs Celebrate a Historic Year for British Television

Away from the fashion, the 2026 National Television Awards also marked a significant night for British TV.

Joel Dommett returned to host the ceremony at The O2 for a sixth year.

Even before the awards began, the event had made history by producing the first all-female shortlist in the Drama Performance category.

The nominees included Ruth Jones, Sheridan Smith, Vicky McClure, Ella Bruccoleri and Judy Parfitt. Vicky McClure ultimately took the prize for her performance in Trigger Point.

The reality category was also particularly competitive, with programmes including I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, The Celebrity Traitors, The Traitors and Race Across the World battling for votes.

Sir David Attenborough went on to win the TV Presenter award in his 100th year, while This Morning, Strictly Come Dancing, Clarkson’s Farm and Emmerdale were among the evening’s other major winners.

Fashion Almost Competes With the Awards

For many viewers, however, the red carpet remains nearly as important as the ceremony itself.

The NTAs bring together a particularly broad cross-section of British celebrity culture, from soap actors and reality stars to veteran presenters and primetime entertainers.

That mixture produces a red carpet far less uniform than many film-award ceremonies.

This year, Katie Price’s lace shorts, Amanda Holden’s vivid pink cut-out gown, Tasha Ghouri’s sequins and Megan McKenna’s PVC tailoring showed just how willing many stars were to experiment.

Not every experiment was destined to be universally admired.

But on a night where attracting attention is almost part of the job, the most divisive outfits arguably achieved exactly what they were designed to do: get people talking.
