The annual ceremony brought together personalities from some of Britain’s biggest television programmes, with the evening once again doubling as both an awards show and a major celebrity fashion event.

While stars including Olivia Attwood, Rochelle Humes and Cat Deeley won praise for their sophisticated looks, several other arrivals embraced more experimental styling that was unlikely to please everyone.

Katie Price Makes One of the Night’s Boldest Entrances

Katie Price ensured photographers had plenty to capture when she arrived wearing an oversized white shirt paired with tiny black-and-nude lace shorts, sheer tights and towering black heels.

The former glamour model appeared with daughter Princess Andre and wore her dark hair slicked tightly back.

Her dramatic makeup was another major feature of the look, with heavy dark eye makeup, strong contouring and a deeply bronzed complexion.

Amanda Holden was equally difficult to miss.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 55, arrived in a vivid fuchsia satin gown featuring an array of cut-out bow details across the front.

The dress featured a plunging neckline and multiple openings through the bodice, turning the otherwise traditional floor-length silhouette into something far more theatrical.

Holden has long been known for embracing daring red-carpet fashion, and her NTA outfit continued that tradition.

The bright Barbie-pink shade made the dress one of the most eye-catching creations of the evening, although its combination of satin, bows and cut-outs divided fashion observers.

She completed the appearance with sleek styling and minimal accessories, allowing the gown itself to remain the focus.

Tasha Ghouri Sparkles From Head to Toe

Tasha Ghouri took an entirely different approach, choosing a heavily embellished look dominated by sequins.

The former Love Island star arrived in a shimmering outfit that exposed part of her midriff and featured a daring cropped bodice.

The sheer quantity of embellishment meant the outfit reflected the red-carpet lights from almost every angle.

Georgia Harrison brought another burst of colour to the carpet.

The reality television personality appeared in a dramatic blue-and-orange creation built around a revealing bodice.

The contrasting shades ensured the dress stood apart from the more restrained black, ivory and neutral gowns worn elsewhere at the ceremony.

Megan McKenna Trades a Gown for PVC

Megan McKenna rejected the conventional red-carpet dress altogether.

Love Island personality Jasmine Muller was another attendee who chose an extremely revealing ensemble.

She attended with fellow villa star Kavan Murphy and opted for a design that made extensive use of sheer and cut-out elements.

The outfit followed one of the strongest celebrity-fashion trends of recent years, with designers increasingly using transparent fabrics, bodysuit-style construction and strategically placed embellishments on major red carpets.

At the NTAs, however, Muller’s version pushed that aesthetic particularly far.

Lottie Tomlinson Tries Nude Lace

Lottie Tomlinson also experimented with the lingerie-inspired theme.

She arrived in a nude-toned lace gown incorporating a visible corset-style top.

Other stars embraced more conventional glamour, including Olivia Attwood in pale satin, Rochelle Humes in flowing ivory and Cat Deeley in a colourful patterned gown.

Stacey Solomon wore a strapless black PVC dress, while Paris Fury opted for red satin and Tana Ramsay chose a metallic Victoria Beckham design.

Together, the arrivals showed just how broad modern red-carpet dressing has become.

Traditional ball gowns now sit comfortably alongside corsets, sheer fabrics, PVC, lingerie-inspired pieces, dramatic cut-outs and heavily embellished designs.

That variety inevitably means some looks attract admiration while others provoke criticism.

The NTAs Celebrate a Historic Year for British Television

Away from the fashion, the 2026 National Television Awards also marked a significant night for British TV.

Joel Dommett returned to host the ceremony at The O2 for a sixth year.

Even before the awards began, the event had made history by producing the first all-female shortlist in the Drama Performance category.

The nominees included Ruth Jones, Sheridan Smith, Vicky McClure, Ella Bruccoleri and Judy Parfitt. Vicky McClure ultimately took the prize for her performance in Trigger Point.

The reality category was also particularly competitive, with programmes including I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, The Celebrity Traitors, The Traitors and Race Across the World battling for votes.

Sir David Attenborough went on to win the TV Presenter award in his 100th year, while This Morning, Strictly Come Dancing, Clarkson’s Farm and Emmerdale were among the evening’s other major winners.

Fashion Almost Competes With the Awards

For many viewers, however, the red carpet remains nearly as important as the ceremony itself.

The NTAs bring together a particularly broad cross-section of British celebrity culture, from soap actors and reality stars to veteran presenters and primetime entertainers.

That mixture produces a red carpet far less uniform than many film-award ceremonies.

This year, Katie Price’s lace shorts, Amanda Holden’s vivid pink cut-out gown, Tasha Ghouri’s sequins and Megan McKenna’s PVC tailoring showed just how willing many stars were to experiment.

Not every experiment was destined to be universally admired.

But on a night where attracting attention is almost part of the job, the most divisive outfits arguably achieved exactly what they were designed to do: get people talking.
