Beaming at one another, the pair appeared deeply in love, having rekindled their relationship after eight years apart.

Footballer Bradley Dack and influencer Emily Moloney were pictured visiting their local petrol station during the heatwave two weeks ago before strolling back to the footballer’s London pad.

Rumours swirled in March that Bradley and Emily were back together, but with no pictures of the couple, their relationship couldn’t be confirmed.

But when Bradley’s ex-‘wife’ Olivia Attwood – who split with him in January – caught sight of the photos this week, she was sent into a ‘spiral’.

On Wednesday she took to Instagram to rant about ‘lying’ – perhaps referring to Bradley misleading her about whether he’d get back with his ex-girlfriend.

She said: ‘I’m processing a lot. Like anyone that’s been in a relationship that spans over a decade can relate. Especially one where there are issues around the truth.

‘And I don’t know what it is. For me, it’s something about lying. It just blows my mind. It blows every brain cell in my head. I can’t deal. But yeah, we move on.’

Although many fans may find her fury rather ironic because Olivia’s rant comes after she misled the nation about her nuptials with Bradley for three years. In March, I revealed that although the ceremony was televised in June 2023, the couple never completed any paperwork to make the marriage legally binding.

Now I can reveal how Olivia’s lies and furious outbursts on social media have caused ‘unnecessary headaches’ for her management team – a relationship, I am told, that has come under strain over the past year.

After first seeing the photos of Brad and Emily on Tuesday, Olivia took to social media and threatened to ‘expose’ her ex-husband, and Gillingham midfielder, to her 2.6million followers.

‘Guys I’m about to get sooooo messy are you ready,’ she wrote on her Instagram story, followed by: ‘Screenshot time.’

But her followers never saw any ‘messy’ screenshots because the reality star’s management team hastily prevented their client from damaging her reputation.

After filming herself downing a glass of fizz in Selfridges, she said: ‘So the screenshots are on pause because my manager wanted me to be the “bigger person”, so I’m going to have a spontaneous night out.’

Although she refrained from posting anything explosive, Olivia proceeded to plaster videos of a seven-hour bender in London with her best friend, Mark Johnson White, across social media.

In them, she ditched her Vans trainers and bought a pair of £700 Louboutin heels before heading to Freedom Bar in Soho, where she ripped the striped T-shirt she had been wearing to appear more ‘club appropriate’.

After a night of pleas from her management team to behave more professionally, Olivia – who currently hosts ITV2’s reality series The Heat – took to social media to explain her wild antics.

Speaking while getting her hair done by a stylist in her plush London flat, Olivia explained: ‘I told you it was going to be a messy girl summer. But please don’t hate me, the messiness is on pause for the time being because I have businesses to run, shows to host and a management team that are very close to handing in their resignation.’

She then posted screenshots of her WhatsApp messages with one of her managers, Scarlett Short, who pleaded: ‘No more!’

Ms Short wrote: ‘But also Liv amazing you [sic]. You don’t get to be iconic without being temporarily unhinged.’

Rather than dwelling on being chastised, Olivia gleefully captioned the Instagram story: ‘Update: My manager doesn’t hate me.’

Following Olivia’s wild night out, an industry source told me: ‘Of course her managers told her to stop. She threatens to do more damage to her brand than she realises by commenting on the Brad stuff. It’s such an unnecessary headache for her management.

‘There is so much potential there with Olivia but her personal life is threatening to jeopardise her professional image.

‘She was being hailed as “ITV’s golden girl” and “the next Holly Willoughby”, so I’m not surprised there are stern words being said behind the scenes and slaps on the wrist.’

And insiders tell me her management team are becoming increasingly tired of her wild behaviour following a string of controversies over the past year.

Trouble began last August when Olivia went on a trip to Ibiza with the radio station she worked for, KissFM.

Damning pictures emerged from the trip of Olivia cosying up to her co-presenter on The Sunday Roast, Pete Wicks, on a superyacht, although she was still officially Brad’s ‘wife’.

When a fan commented ‘I’m afraid for your marriage’ on one of her Instagram posts, Olivia hit back with, ‘Don’t be. Worry about your own’.

It was a move that would no doubt have upset her management team – the general rule of thumb among most celebs is to remain silent in times of reputational danger and let it ‘blow over’.

In the background, a source close to the reality star tried to squash speculation that she and Pete were having an affair by insisting: ‘There is no issue between Olivia and Bradley’ and that the co-hosts were just ‘letting off steam’.

Fast forward five months, it was revealed she and Brad had split over a ‘breach of trust’ by him. Olivia swiftly moved out of their £1million Cheshire mansion into a London flat, coincidentally closer to Pete.

But things only got worse from there.

A freelance PR, Callum Bracken, who previously worked with Olivia on Love Island, was called in to help her weather the storm of the break-up.

Then in March I revealed that Olivia’s glitzy wedding at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, aired on the ITV series Olivia Meets Her Match, was a sham.

Although television cameras captured her walking down the aisle in a £300,000 gown and she exchanged vows with Bradley, no legal marriage ever took place.

I was informed that Olivia had every intention of marrying Bradley but, despite her best efforts, her planner was unable to get a wedding license for the Bulgari Hotel. Instead of informing ITV, they secretly signed a fake wedding certificate.

The couple claim they made an appointment with a registry office in Cheshire for six weeks after the wedding to ‘complete the paperwork’.

But, as I was repeatedly briefed, Olivia ‘uncovered a number of mistruths which put a stall on following through with the paperwork’. Insiders tell me Olivia chose not to legally marry the footballer after she discovered Bradley has been unfaithful.

ITV bosses said they had no idea that they had broadcast a fake wedding, explaining they were ‘frustrated’ and ‘blindsided’ by Olivia’s lies.

Just four days later Olivia – in a bid to distract the public from the scandal – made a statement about her split from Bradley.

‘I have stood by Brad for the last ten years during which he lied and cheated on me multiple times,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘The breakdown of our relationship is because of this.

‘I was in love with him and the potential I saw in him and wanted always to help him try to be the best version of himself as I did for 10 years.

‘Lying to my family and friends. Arranging therapy. Believing the grovelling apologies. I of course now feel like a f***ing idiot.

‘I never wanted to say any of this. I find the whole situation utterly humiliating.’

But the admission came after three years of lying about being married, during which the couple kept up the illusion on podcasts and television shows. Olivia even added ‘Dack’ to the end of her professional name, while her so-called husband appeared on Loose Women and told Coleen Nolan he wasn’t nervous because ‘we got married on camera’.

There in lies another tricky point for her team.

Because they have to mop up bombshell revelations about Olivia’s personal life while forging new brand partnerships and securing new shows for the presenter.

But it seems that all was forgotten by yesterday morning as it was back to business as usual for the influencer, who took to her Instagram stories to promote a new River Island campaign.

And so draws to a close yet another wild chapter in the whole ‘messy’ affair.
