Olivia Attwood has revealed how her boyfriend Pete Wicks confessed his secret feelings for her after she split from her ex Bradley Dack.
The TV presenter, 35, is in the throes of a new romance with Pete, 37, but the couple have been close friends before their bond blossomed into something more.
The friendship has clearly proved a sturdy foundation, as Olivia credited Pete’s ’emotional intelligence’ and being able to go ‘toe-to-toe with her on banter.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Olivia spoke about her ‘easy’ romance with Pete, and the breakdown of her relationship with cheating Bradley.
Olivia couldn’t hide her happiness as she spoke of Pete, saying: ‘It’s the easiest thing I’ve ever done. We’re both in this era where we just want peace and to enjoy life. Personality wise, I’ve never had a straight man who can go toe-to-toe with me on banter – he is the only one who can keep up.
‘We tick a lot of the boxes that are really important in adult relationships. Pete’s a very rare person. He’s very emotionally intelligent. It’s quite remarkable.’

On whether the relationship came as a surprise, she said: ‘Like it is now, yes. We always got on so well but we bickered like brother and sister – never once was there ever… Once he knew I was separated, he made his feelings known, and it all happened quite quickly.
‘Our friendship group is nauseated by us – we’re one PDA away from being exiled. I’m like, ‘who are we?’ We’re bringing out a [new] side of each other.’
Hours before the interview was published, eagle-eyed fans noticed Olivia has made a sweet tribute to her boyfriend Pete.
The television personality, who went Instagram official with Pete, last month after months of speculation, has added Pete’s initials to her phone charm. The Cosmo interviewer also revealed that a cosy unseen snap was also Olivia’s phone background now.
Olivia was seen out on Wednesday with her phone in hand after her followers noticed it on a recent Instagram snap.
One wrote: ‘The PW initials on the phone charm,’ to which others commented: ‘wow that’s eagle-eyed.’
Olivia’s tribute to Pete is a lot less permanent than the number 23 tribute on her wrist.
She originally got the small ink design in 2018 in honour of her now ex Bradley Dack as it was his football number.

During her interview on This Morning this week, Olivia was grilled about her romance with Pete.
Olivia was forced to confirm that Pete hadn’t been under the knife after host Josie Gibson mistakenly believed he had.
During the chat, the ITV programme showed clips from her show featuring several celebrities, including her scene with Pete where she joked she’d change her eyes.
Listing her famous guests, Josie said: ‘You’ve got Katie Price, you’ve got Pete Wicks, you’ve got Katherine Ryan… they’re very honest about their regrets and they’re very honest if they’ve enjoyed what they’ve had done.’
To which Olivia was quick to correct her, remarking: ‘I should put out there, Pete’s not someone who’s had any surgery! I just picked his brain a little bit.’
Josie then noted ‘I thought that,’ while her co-host Paddy wasn’t convinced as he chimed in saying: ‘Yeah right!’
Olivia continued: ‘No, that is all him! It’s all natural.’
When questioned if his piercing blue eyes were actually real, she added: ‘My mum used to say to me she thinks he has contacts, but those are his real eyes.’
